Looking through Pinterest I came across a post that I was immediately interested in. It was a picture of a perfectly set up page of a bullet journal. I loved the organisation and calligraphy. I immediately wanted to start one! So as you can guess, now I have a Pinterest board completely dedicated to "Bullet Journal Inspo".
I absolutely love pretty stationary so this whole bullet journal trend is getting me really excited. I graduate college in about a week so I thought that starting a bullet journal would be a great project to focus on and distract me from my unsure future. A bullet journal can be a personal planner, calendar, self care journal, and budget helper all in one. Set up the pages for different purposes and have an index for keeping track of tasks. It's easy to get started and it's a lot of fun!
So read on to find out a few of the things necessary to start a bullet journal.

1. Journal
In researching this I found a lot of different price points. The "official" bullet journal from the "official" website is around $24 dollars. But if you want a more economic version, which personally I would prefer, Amazon has a journal for $19.95. Its by a brand called Leuchttrum and is a very well known brand. It seems like the best style for bullet journals are dotted or checkered pages. This particular one has dotted pages. This makes it easier to customise. Click on the link to check it out!
2. Coloured pens or markers
Customise your journal with your style and make it look great with some different coloured pens! The nice thing about a bullet journal is that you can put whatever you want in it and colour and draw how you please.
3. Stencils and Rulers
Keep your bullet journal looking nice and neat. A ruler can help you create sections and keep you on the right line. Stencils are a fun way to create cool shapes and designs in your journal. Whether you wanna put flowers, arrows or birds, it's all up to you!
4. Stickers and Washi Tape
Personalise your bullet journal to fit your personality. Use post it notes, stickers and washi tape to help you. You can write on them or have them represent something in your bullet journal.

So go forth and bullet journal friends! Be creative, take care of yourself and most of all have fun!
Until next time,
Annie
